This exhibition looks at the works created by Bethany Dugmore during the year 2020. Reflecting on changes from a turbulent time, her work looks at people's interactions and changes in communication from the impact of the pandemic. The three works titled; ‘Social’, ‘Dirty Laundry’ and ‘Testing’ look at the societies response to a global pandemic.
Bethany Dugmore is a West Midlands based artist who works in mixed mediums to explore human interaction. Her works explore verbal and written communication, ideologies, and other key concepts within her research field. Receiving both a BA and MA in Fine Art, Bethany went on to receive a residency at The New Art Gallery Walsall upon her graduation. Currently a studio holder at Asylum Art Gallery and Studios, her work has exhibited in many group exhibitions and open studio events.
